1987 State High School Football Playoffs. Evansville vs Whitewater. Whitewater (9-0) and rolled through the Southern Lakes Conference blowing most teams away with their potent rushing game. Evansville (6-3) 2nd in the Rock Valley Conference lost their first game of the year to Whitewater in a non-conference game and had lost the previous two years to Whitewater.
