Jackie Blue asked:

It was back in the late 60’s for me. Our local rock and roll radio station in Evansville Indiana would play the Adventures of Chicken Man, several times a day. It played over many stations across America. It was a 2 or maybe 3 min. segment. I know there has to be others out there that remember, He’s everywhere, he’s everywhere! Chicken Man! It was a real hoot. lol
I have heard of Murray the K through N.E. acquaintences.
The creator was from Chicago.

The UE Drumline plays their first gig at a UE girls basketball game.
The Evansville Drumline was founded in winter of 2007 and has 9 members.
Keep in mind, University of Evansville has no marching band. The drumline is driven entirely by dedicated members that simply wanted to drum.

Where is the rudest place you’ve ever visited? How bad was it?

chandlerthemandler asked:

In my personal experience, these places have all been pretty bad (in no particular order):

1. Dayton, Ohio
2. Southern Indiana (Evansville particularly, although Corydon is pretty nice)
3. Kentucky (the entire state, especially Louisville, Lawrenceburg, and Frankfort. However, far western KY is pretty nice.) This actually is my least favorite of all, they have It’s that friendly on their license plates, but it’s a hoax.
4. Washington, DC and suburban areas
5. Orlando, FL
6. Northern New Jersey
7. NYC (in parts, but all in all it’s not too bad)

If you live in any of these places, feel free to agree or disagree. Why do you feel the way you do? And, of course, if there are other place(s) that come to mind, list those. Would you ever go back to these place(s)?

Personally, I LIKE Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee (especially west of Knoxville,) Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.
