Michigan, by the way, gets a horrible rap from people. I’ve found the people from there to be surprisingly friendly, though; I’ve never had just an “awful” experience with a Michiganian; most of them have been very nice to me. OK, maybe Detroit ain’t much, but other than that, it’s nice.
Kentucky is a different kettle of worms: some of the nicest and meanest cities I’ve ever been to are there. If you go into the wrong town or the wrong part of a town at the wrong time, you might regret going. In KY I’ve found, ironically, that the cleaner and sometimes wealthier the town, the friendlier and happier the people are.
I prefer you keep your answer within the U.S., but if you must, you can name an something international.
I visited Louisville 2-3 times and it ******! I’ll be living near there soon, but God forbid I should have to live there. Rudeness deluxe!
